Military Banner Program Application
Cost $188.00 per banner
Banners will be on display starting on Memorial Day through Veterans Day and locations shall be determined by the Town of Spring Lake.
Order Due Date: April 12, 2024
The Town of Spring Lake Military Banner Program was initiated by the Town to honor and recognize Spring Lake veterans and active-duty service members.
The banners are 24” wide x 48” tall and made of heavy vinyl, printed the same on both sides with the service person’s photo, full name, and branch of the military.
The banners are displayed in downtown Spring Lake on Main Street. If Main Street fills up with the banners, then the banners will be displayed on Spring Avenue, Bragg Boulevard, and NC HWY 210. Banners will be on display starting on Memorial Day through Veterans Day. All banner locations shall be determined solely by the Town of Spring Lake. The number of banners and location is subject to change.

Eligibility
• Honoree must be an active, retired, or honorably discharged member of the United States Armed Forces service branches (Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Space Force).

Once the application and required documents have been submitted to the Town of Spring Lake, the materials will be reviewed by the Spring Lake Veterans Advisory Committee (MVAC). If selected, proof of the banner will be provided to the applicant for final approval.
Waiver and Limitations
The Town of Spring Lake is not responsible for replacing banners that are stolen, damaged, or destroyed due to age, vandalism, or any acts of nature, including high winds. Any loss or damage to an installed banner will be handled at the discretion of the Town. The Town reserves the right to not install a banner if the above requirements have not been met. All banners are the property of the Town of Spring Lake.

Veterans Park Brick Program
Cost $120.00 per brick
The Town of Spring Lake Veterans Park began as a community project to honor veterans and show appreciation for the service and sacrifices they and their families have made for this nation.
The Veteran’s Park is a place where all veterans and all branches of the military service will be honored. Quiet reflection can take place, learning can happen and special ceremonies can be held to honor our nation’s veterans.
The Veteran’s Park is located at the corner of Ruth Street and N. Main Street.
Purchasing a paver brick is a great way to thank our veterans for all they have done.
All paver bricks will be a part of the park and will serve as a perpetual reminder of how much the contributions of veterans mean to this country and you. Purchase them for yourself or friends and family as a memorable gift.
